Advanced Poetry Workshop 2012/13 (evening)

In-depth focus on your poems in progress and the overall direction and development of your work. There won’t be writing exercises, but the sessions will be enlivened by reading published poetry as a stimulus for your writing and discussion. To apply, please send four poems to Mimi at 130c Evering Road, London N16 7BD by 17 August 2012 (and specify if you would prefer the afternoon or evening session). The course takes place over three terms.

Mimi Khalvati
Mimi Khalvati has published six collections with Carcanet Press. In 2006 she received a Cholmondeley Award and her collection The Meanest Flower was a PBS Recommendation. She was co-editor of the Poetry School's three anthologies published by Enitharmon Press, the most recent being I am twenty people! co-edited with Stephen Knight (2007). Mimi is the founder of The Poetry School.

Access Information

The Poetry School has accessible parking with a front entrance drop-off point. The room used for classes is on ground level and there is adequate space for wheelchair users and an induction loop available upon request.
