Donate to the Poetry School

The Poetry School is registered charity. We rely on our funders, on donations from private trusts and foundations and on individual donations to deliver our poetry writing activities to such a high quality throughout England and online at an affordable price.

Our grants scheme exists to help those for whom the cost of a Poetry School activity is too great. Last year we were able to award £1,400 in grants to students.

Our grants scheme is supported in part by donations from individuals. With criteria based on financial need and priority given to first-time applicants, the scheme promotes the inclusion of new and diverse voices at the Poetry School with the associated benefits that this can provide for all students' writing and learning experience.

Alternatively you can send a cheque (payable to 'The Poetry School') to 81 Lambeth Walk, London SE11 6DX or call us with a debit/credit card - please tell us if you'd like to add a donation to your phone booking. 

All donations, however small, are gratefully acknowledged and help the organisation to reach more people and make a real impact on poetry writing at a national level.
